Court filing fees filing fees are your responsibility and are separate from our service fee. Court filing fees vary from county to county. At this time, the filing fee for dissolution of marriage in most jurisdictions is $250 although in some instances a reduction or waiver of the court filing fee may be available from the court. You should verify the court filing fee with the court. In addition, you acknowledge and specifically agree that charge backs are unlawful if the Website services have been rendered in accordance with these terms of service, e.g. you have been provided with access information for the case login area and online questionnaire. The Website will use this document to dispute your charge back with your bank or credit card company. If you have a billing dispute with this Website, it is your responsibility to settle such dispute with the Website directly without initiating any chargeback. Any chargeback may evoke an administrative fee of fifty dollars, without exception and regardless of the outcome of the chargeback case. You agree that you and your spouse have determined that it is in your individual and mutual interest to obtain an uncontested divorce and are using this Website for the sole purpose of obtaining professionally prepared uncontested divorce documents and information. You and your spouse understand that an uncontested divorce differs from a divorce in which you may wish to litigate issues.

You agree that you and your spouse have reached an independent agreement with each other and understand that once assigned to a case attorney the case attorney will oversee the paperwork that encompasses the independent agreement reached by you and your spouse.

You and your spouse understand that the case attorney is not responsible for the content in your documents and agree not to hold the case attorney or web site responsible for any items that we may be omitted or embellished in your documents due to your unique personal circumstances.

You and your spouse understand that you will be required to pay a court filing fee at the time of filing your Petition for Dissolution of Marriage with the court and you and your spouse understand that the mandatory court filing fee is separate and apart from the service fee you are paying via this Website for the purpose of submitting your mutual agreement online and having a duly licensed Washington attorney prepare your uncontested divorce documents based upon your independent agreement with your spouse.

You and your spouse agree to use the assigned case attorney's online software, www.washigntondivorceonline.com, in order to prepare your paperwork and reduce legal costs. You and your spouse further agree to be bound by the Terms of Service and this Service Agreement and all other policies of the Website.

You and your spouse understand that once your documents are complete, you will be responsible for printing and filing them in Lincoln County Superior Court in order to obtain a divorce without a court hearing. If you and your spouse do not wish to file your divorce case in Lincoln County Superior Court it is your responsibility to indicate the county where you intend to file your divorce case.

You and your spouse agree and understand that all fees associated with the preparation of your uncontested divorce documents are flat fees and are therefore nonrefundable once you begin the online process via this Website. You and your spouse further understand that these fees are not contingent upon the outcome of your uncontested divorce case and that the service fee paid via this Website will not be placed into a trust or separate interest bearing account.

You and your spouse agree and understand that if your uncontested divorce becomes contested in anyway, the assigned case attorney will withdraw from your case; however, as stated above, the service fee will not be refunded.

You and your spouse agree and understand that it is your responsibility to promptly respond and cooperate with your assigned case attorney, paralegals or staff in the preparation of your documents. In the event that you or your spouse does not promptly respond or participate in the process, this will be considered a material breach of this agreement and your assigned case attorney may withdraw from your uncontested case, and as stated above, the service fee will not be refunded.

You can request changes to your documents for up to 30 days after receiving your completed documents. You and your spouse agree and understand that after all of your documents have been prepared, any changes to your documents may result in an additional fee of $50.00 per change request.

You and your spouse agree and understand that this Website strongly recommends that you and your spouse seek independent counsel and legal advice prior to signing any agreement or document prepared by your assigned case attorney.

You and your spouse agree that this Website and its assigned Case Attorney exist in King County in the State of Washington. You and your spouse agree that regardless of where either of you reside or where your browser is physically located, that the viewing and use of this Website occurs solely within the County of King in the State of Washington, and all Website content and services shall be deemed to occur and performed wholly within Seattle, Washington, as if you or your spouse physically traveled to Seattle, Washington to obtain service.

You and your spouse agree and understand that if any disputes arise regarding the terms of this agreement or use of this Website or services provided that all will be subject to mandatory and binding arbitration and shall be settled in King County, Washington.

SERVICE GUARANTEE

This Website guarantees that the documents you receive will be the official, mandatory forms accepted by the court or we will make any changes requested by the court at no additional charge to you or we will issue you a complete refund of the service fee minus a fifty-dollar administrative fee. You must provide evidence to verify any rejection or denial of the documents produced by this Website. We reserve the right to verify rejection or denial information with the court. We are not responsible for your mistakes or circumstances beyond our control. We cannot guarantee any results or outcome of your divorce case. We cannot guarantee the judge will rule in your favor on any matter. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or otherwise connected with any court or government body. As such, court backlogs may lead to a long delay before your case is completed. We are not responsible for delays with your case. Problems like these or others are beyond our control are not covered by our refund policy. We will not issue refunds for matters beyond our control. Examples include, but are not limited to, you deciding to not submit the documents to the court, your spouse being unwilling to sign the documents, you and your spouse deciding to reconcile, the death of your spouse, or you failing to provide complete or accurate information to us or the court.You may request a refund at any time by sending an email request for same and following our refund process. All refund requests are reviewed and a decision rendered based upon this agreement. You will be notified by email of the decision reached regarding any refund request. Refund requests are processed on a case-by-case basis.

SERVICE CANCELLATION OR REFUND

Notwithstanding the Service Guarantee that this Website offers, you agree that all payments made to this Website are final and the service fee is nonrefundable as explained in the Service Agreement. The Service Guarantee states that in the event that your completed divorce documents are not accepted by the court due to a typographical or a formatting error by this Website and the Website fails to make the corrections specifically requested by the court, you may be eligible for a refund of the service fee minus a fifty-dollar ($50.00) administrative fee. To qualify for a refund of your service fee minus the administrative fee, you must provide evidence of any rejection or denial by the court of the divorce documents produced by this Website. You must submit your refund request by email and then complete a Refund Request Form. We reserve the right to verify rejection or denial information with the court or to request evidence of any claim(s). In such cases, your service fee minus the fifty-dollar ($50.00) administrative fee may be refundable if the court does not accept your divorce documents due to our error, and we consequently fail to correct this error after we receive a notification from you or the court. The Website will take necessary action to overturn any dispute or chargeback filed with your bank and credit card provider.
